Library facilities will be closed from May 28 through July 4 as staff, collections, and furnishings are relocated to the temporary facility.
Nash Library’s collections of books, DVDs, and print journals will not be available during this time. Over 50 library databases, 55,000 electronic journals, and 150,000 ebooks will continue to be available 24/7 via the library website.
Although they may not be immediately reachable, library staff and faculty will continue to check email and voice mail as well as any queries submitted via SMS text messaging, Twitter, or the library’s online FAQ page (http://libraryhelp.gannon.edu/).
Swank Digital Campus (link below) - Video Streaming Service trial until June 30, 2016
Swank Digital Campus contains a collection of 300 of the most popular academic video titles for learning/curriculum use dating from 1930-2014.
“Swank Digital Campus allows students, faculty and staff to view licensed content on an individual basis using personal computers and mobile devices (iOS and Android operating systems). Faculty and staff can also show content in a secured classroom setting to registered students for specific course support or clearly defined academic purpose. Any cross-campus promotion for classroom viewings, large screen event showings or availability of individual titles is strictly prohibited.”
· Swank Digital Campus works with most browsers, with the exception of recent versions of Firefox.
· Viewing on mobile devices requires the Swank Media Player app, free from the App Store and Google Play.
· Off-campus access is available to current students, faculty and staff via EZ Proxy.
