Q. How do I connect to a wall monitor?

Answer: Instructions for connecting to media collaboration room displays can be found in this downloadable word document. See staff at Service Desk for further assistance.

Q. Wifi?

Answer: The library, as well as many of the buildings on campus, does provide access to Gannon's wireless network. More information can be obtained from the ITS website 

Q. Where is the ITS Help Desk?

Answer: Please refer to the signage posted at Technology Support Center, located on the first floor of the library, for hours. Users may call the help desk at 814-871-7501 or (toll free) 877-482-4333

Q. Where can I find computers to use in the library?

Answer:

  • Computer workstations are provided on the first floor of the library.
  • The library computer lab is available when not scheduled for a class for general computing.
  • Several Apple workstations are located near the courtyard entrances on the lower level. 
  • Additional single person workstations are located on the second floor. 

Q. Where can I find laptop computers to use in the library?

Answer: Laptops for in-building use can be checked out at the main Service Desk.

Q. Where can I find copiers/printers in the library?

Answer: University Papercut system printers can be found on the first and second floors as well as in several locations on the lower level. 

Q. Do I have to pay for copies?

Answer: The printers in the library are set up to work with your network account and count to your semester allotment of copies. Details for printing with Papercut can be found on the ITS Knowledgebase under General: Print Information for students.

Q. Are there copiers available for public use?

Answer: Printing services are not available for public use.

Q. Is there a scanner/copying machine to use in Nash?

Answer: The PaperCut network copiers include an option to scan to USB drive and can be found on the lower level, 1st and 2nd floors. Feel free to ask the service desk for more information.

Q. What do I do if the copier is not working or is out of paper?

Answer: Please inform the staff at the main service desk of any problems with any of the building printers/copiers.
