Community Access

Building Information

Nash Library welcomes members from the community to use our facility and print collection during regular operational hours. Please be aware of the following:

  • Study rooms are only available for use by Gannon students and employees. 
  • Guest computers and printing services are not available.
  • Users may bring their own laptop or computing device for use on the free Gannon GUGuest Wifi as provided below.
  • Building use exception: Community Patrons may ONLY use the first floor during Finals Weeks as study space is required for our students.

Wifi

GUGuest wireless requirements & information:

  • Any anti-virus software installed.
  • Anti-virus definitions up-to-date.
  • Create a guest account (good for 1 day) - A Gannon Network ID will NOT authenticate to GUGuest.
  • NO Gannon pages will be available.
  • NO game devices can connect thru GUGuest.

To connect your computer or phone to GUGuest:

  1. Connect to the GUGuest wireless - a password is required 
    (Please contact the Help Desk at 814-871-7501 for the password)
  2. Open your web browser and agree to the Acceptable Usage Policy.
  3. Click on the Gannon University Guests Start button.
  4. Complete the guest registration.
  5. Run the FortiNAC Dissolvable agent and follow on-screen directions.
  6. If requirements are met, you will see a Success window and a status bar for establishing your connection.
